Gran Turismo is the main PlayStation racing exclusive, which has been leaving the Polyphony Digital workshop for almost 20 years, and is distinguished by the highest build quality and excellent driving performance. In this regard, the latest part with the subtitle Sport was no exception, but the Japanese beast still lost some familiar details. Chief mechanic of StopGame.ru Maxim Solodilov climbed under the hood of this colossus and found out what it had lost, whether it was possible to drive it comfortably and whether it was worth taking one at all.

I went in, turned it on, heard the phrase “We’ll do without the clownery,” turned off the video. Why did you ruin the career of such a promising guy?? He had such a future in the field of racing reviews. You can’t throw away nuggets like that (((
Almost stable 60 fps, almost even 4k, almost a single, almost the usual 1000 cars (almost 160), almost 41 tracks like in GT6 (but almost 17)…
More like the open beta of part 7, only paid.
I liked the clownery in the rally review, I even watched it several times to lift my spirits with videos on YouTube.
But the GT series has always been about serious cabbage soup and pathos from proper driving and admiring cars, clowning would not look organic in such a review. Perhaps a couple of inserts purely referencing the image, as was done at the beginning and end.
As for the game itself, it’s not great. I’m much more keen on driving for fun in a single-player game, where you can fully enjoy the feeling of the car, compete with the track, take on brick opponents, and multiplayer changes the emphasis from all this to the competitive element, which I prefer in shooters.
Forza came out a month ago and there is still no review – where are journalistic ethics and objectivity?? I’ve been playing Force 7 for a month now and the game is really awesome – and for two weeks the price tag was 2000 for the standard edition and 3400 for the Ultimate edition – t.e. Forza 7 for many people was half the price (or even 4 tons).To. you get a copy on PC) than GT and at the same time there is 6 times more content in it. The graphics are excellent in the game. As always, there are issues with the controls in the form of understeer of the car, but in general the games are simply gorgeous and this is the best computer race of this year, which is not quite a simulator, but cannot be called an arcade either.
In general, it’s bad that in our country there is no objectivity and for the most part even stopgame drowns for sonyboys
Well, the game came out http://casino-betway.co.uk/ complete, complete, with a campaign, fanfare, a bunch of cars. Walking through it, I didn’t have the feeling of being “stumped”. There’s simply not enough DLC for me, there’s already an ungodly amount of games.
Thanks for the review! I’ll take a closer look at the game as soon as I clear out the fall mess and debts from the beginning of the year.
For Max in the frame I give a plus in karma!
And, in order of nonsense:
I don’t play GT Sport as Max or DiRT.
The emphasis on multiplayer and the almost complete absence of the usual career extended my wait for the new Gran Turismo indefinitely. It feels like GT: Sport never came out. I hope that we won’t have to wait long for a full-fledged new GT. I also hope that the game will turn out better and more diverse than the 6th part (which is also ok, but it lacked racing modifications and long races).
In the presence of an exclusive GT Sport bundle, the one with the Mazda MX-5, it’s somehow dumb to talk about the “prologue”.
There are collisions, Max lied a little, you become a “ghost” only if you are severely carried away, suddenly lose speed and are in a crowd of a large number of cars. When you drive normally, the impacts are very noticeable.
I also wanted to write about GIMX, I use it myself. Input lag, if there is any, is invisible. Full feedback, 900 degrees plus the game itself can adjust the turning radius if necessary. But of course you have to tinker with the wires. Although, taking into account the price of the same G29, GIMX for a thousand rubles is worth just tinkering with the assembly, and a little tinkering when connecting.
I don’t understand why in multiplayer we divide players into hooligans and neat ones if there are no collisions anyway. Or is it only in elite races??
And yet about the graphon. When you look at the ProjectCars2 review, there are no questions that something is wrong. At least everything looks better stylistically, but here it’s a bit empty. Even if this is more plausible, I would still like some embellishment, because personally I have time to look at the environment, for which I really love DirtRally, which is simple and beautiful. There’s a bit of a mess here.
I counted how much time I spent in FH3, something like 25 hours. And during this time I saw only 10-15 percent of the single-player content of the main game without DLC, online features of course made it through, since they are partially integrated into the single, but I did not participate in full-fledged online races at all.
Good review, explained everything, in short, I’ll buy it when there are discounts.
And also, for the steering wheel, order or make GIMX, if you order it, it costs only 30 euros (even the feedback works, the steering wheel will be disguised as a G29), although the steering wheel will work via a PC.
thanks for the review, I don’t think there’s much need to worry about saves, they can easily fix this thing with a patch, especially if you remember how many updates were released for GT5 and 6, I think there’s still a lot ahead of us
